Looking to buy a mold

Which mold would be best for a round ball mold for a 410 shot shell. Would like at least a double cavity mold or bigger.

000 Buckshot is the largest that will fit 410 shell - Winchester sells them

3 balls in 2 1/2" shells and 5 balls in 3" shells
each ball 70 grains .360" diameter

Lee makes a multi cavity .360 mold that spits out 18 at a time, but I've never tried one.

Okay I have to ask here are you looking to make multiple bucksot loads or want a single ball/deerslug type load? Round ball could mean either.

Ah, sorry misunderstood your request
- your going to have to measure your choke to see what's the largest that will pass
- mine is .406 - your's will probably be different.

My Mossberg will almost pass a .410" boolit for the 41 mag. If I get a smaller sizer it would probably work. With the Hi-Tek coating I can size down boolits without distorting the driving bands so I may size the 41mag boolit with the .401" sizer and see if it and the wad will fit thru the choke.
My round balls for my 36 cal black powder revolver fit inside the wad when it is loaded in the shell.

Wrote myself a note to try it tomorrow.

My son killed his first two deer with a 410 with what ever slugs comes in a 3" 410 shell.One nearly took the top of the little doe's head off and the buck I cannot really say because he knocked him down and was trying to get up when I gave him a dost of 000's.All of these shots were at less than 40 yards.
