Have not seen any reports of anyone actually getting one back yet but sure we will soon. Only thing that concerns me is the statement of increased trigger pull, but we will see when it gets here.

I am not expecting much so if it is good I will pleasantly surprised instead of unpleasantly surprised.

Yes. Trigger will not reset when the grip safety isn't engauged.

If you were to drop the slide, chambering a round from the magazine, with the trigger not reset the firing pin is free to move forward from inertia possibly discharging a round.

There's another video, Yankee mentions it, where the guy tests this. The gun doesn't go off in the one time he tries it, but there is a clear mark on the primer.

looks pretty clumsy to try and rack the without engaging the grip safety. I'd call it a manual of arms flaw rather than a mechanical one. However out of curiosity I checked for this behavior in my service sized XD .45 and not only does the trigger immediately spring back to its reset position but the slide is locked and cannot be racked without the grip safety depressed. I find it surprising that they would have deviated so far from the original and great design rather than just down sizing it.

it's for the XDs only(the single stack 3.3). Not for XD or XDm

LOL! Got a letter today SA informing me of the recall and to send the gun in! Thought that was funny, and ironic, considering they say they are in process of sending them home...
