I have a new mold coming Le tl358 148 wc. I don't have any Bullseye powder but if have unique, red dot and 2400. Can anyone share some loads? I am confused at what seating depth I should use. I will be shooting from a 686 using CCI small pistol primers and 357 cases.

Thanks

4 grains of Unique for light load. I like 5 grains of Unique. The following will really smoke something with a harder alloy. Data from Load Data:

148 Wad Cutter Alliant Unique 5.8 1344 fps
Remarks: start load; min OAL: 1.330
148 Wad Cutter Alliant Unique 6.4 1465 fps
Remarks: NEVER EXCEED; min OAL: 1.330; 33,800 psi

I just loaded up some for my son to shoot yesterday. 3.0 grains of red dot. 1.357" overall length. Very quiet, low recoil and pretty accurate for a plinking load. Shot out of a 4 inch Ruger GP100. Sat down on Friday and made up 856 of the 148 grain DEWC. Here's a pic showing how I load them.

I use the TL 148s and load them like longshot1154's picture. Top crimp groove.
