Winchester 670 magazine spring & follower

Broke the leaf spring that elevates the magazine follower for my 670 today. A few hours searching has yielded nothing but a wish list on the Nurmrich site. Any ideas? Thinking about getting a similar spring and modifying it but not sure where to start. Spring is bradded/riveted to follower and baseplate; could make things interesting.

Isn't the Model 670 the blind magazine version of the Model 70?

What about a Model 70 spring and maybe the follower too.

Or possibly a Mauser magazine spring.

You're right, I'm leaning towards trying that. Just put a new Boyd stock on Ol' Ugly or I'd consider putting a 70 stock, floorplate and magazine on her. The Ruger spring looks similar as well. I have a new 70 and a Ruger 77, may be time to do a little research.

Looks like the spring is the same, Dave G @ Brownell's live chat helped me figure that out. Even found it @ Numrich for me! Got a couple of springs and rivets coming from Numrich but need to give a plug to one of our sponsors, Brownells!
