I was blessed with a nice young buck yesterday afternoon, after the shot he ran into the nearby open field, went and got my truck, drove to him and loaded him up. How often does that happen!

I've been out 6 times and had deer within range 4 of them. They all got pass due to them being the backyard buddies of my mom. I just could wasn't going to shoot on of the ones we have been enjoying lounging around up there in the yard for hour at a time.

To be honest I was really after some feral hogs which seemed to figure out which stand feeder I was hunting and go to another one. I'll be out again this weekend though with the grandson for youth weekend and maybe we will put some meat on the ground then.
