Shooting Bench

I finally did it. For 20 years at this place I have used The hood or the truck, the basket on my 4 wheeler, a folding table, the ground ; Everything except a sturdy shooting bench. Yesterday my friend came over and built this shooting bench for me. I am still recovering from my double knee replacement, so I was only the assistant on this project.

This thing is strong enough to drive a tank over it, and so sturdy that a hurricane wouldn't shake it. Now I just have to load some boolits to shoot.

Like the person in the article, I used 4x4 s instead of 6x6 s. I also did not put the bench seats on it. I will use separate benches.

I built the same bench 2 yrs ago, only I put the bench type seats on it. Just recently I added an offset on the left side to sit my spotting scope on. I got tired of bouncing brass off it with semiautos. It is sturdy and functional.
