I have searched, read, and searched again.
Looking for a load recipe I can start with for cast boolits in my AR15. I already use Ramshot TAC, but have several pounds of IMR4064 to use up. I also have WIN760 and IMR4895.
I would prefer a ball type powder for easy metering on my progressive. I do however have RCBS ChargeMaster if stickpowder is my best option. I have no experience in fillers, but willing to try if needed.
Not looking for super-speed, just something that will cycle the action. These are primarily plinking rounds and most shooting will be done under 75 yds.

My info:

AR15 16" barrel w/1-9" twist
NOE 60gr gas-checked (Saeco 221 clone) clip-on WW air cooled
Sized to .225" w/ Lar's Red Carnauba

I had that mold a while back and can't remember exactly the charge but I think I was running RL 15 (left some unburnt kernals) and maybe H4895??? I will look back at my notes. Rifle was identical. I used WDWW's and just remember having a clean barrel.

4895, either H or IMR will get your what you are looking for. Proper functioning will start around 19gr to 20gr or so depending on your particular rifle.

Our Intermediate length (between carbine and rifle) 5.56 upper works with this boolit and 16gr H4895.

Moonie what carrier are you running? Also are you running a standard spring?

My mid length BCM won't lock back with less than 20.5gr of H4895 and with a 7 twist that much powder is pushing it too fast for good accuracy.

14.4 grains of IMR 4198 is give full lock back in my mid-length rock river.

A2 stock and standard spring.. I am generous with oil in the gas key-way and bolt. but I've ran it till very dirty and it still works.

I run imr4064 with that same boolit and lube. I started at 17 grains and got good function at 19.0 through a 16" bushmaster.

Standard carbine buffer and spring. Just a standard AR-15 carrier. 1-9" twist barrel.

Nice! I'll try IMR 4064 since I have about 6 pounds of it and cannot locate any H4895 in my area at a decent price.
