I just use the Magma Lube that they sell.
Its a hard lube and it requires heat but it works for me.
I only cast pistol.

Whatever the current test batch is. I change lubes more than I change shoes.

Tac#1 from member RandyRat. Works in all my pistols and rifles.

I've got one Star loaded with LBT blue , the other has 50/50 Alox GAR lube . The blue is for high end stuff the Alox for everything else .

Carnauba red in the summer and BAC in the winter.

I really like Carnauba red. I found it works well in the star at 105F and 40PSI.

LOL...

What happens when you cast and size in the winter but don't get around to loading it till summer?

I lube just prior to loading and have dedicated summer and winter loads since I hunt at 0*F in the winter and plink/ compete at 80*f in the summer. My loads don't collect dust either!

do you have a heater?
if not you'll want to rig one up or use a softer lube.

NRA 50-50 or LBT soft blue. IME, soft lubes work best and I have no
interest in using a heater.

LS Stuff Red and using a heat lamp to warm the sizer up. Works great for WW bullets for .45 ACP which is all I've done so far...

Cheap Lee molds, don't size, x-lox (the guy from Arkansas), 1300 tops and under 1.5 moa all day.

BAC from Lar45. It takes some heat but leaves the barrel clean.

Carnauba red, use it for everything and have no problems with rifle or pistol. And its economical....from White Lable Lube

I use a heater & like WL Cr or Randy's Tac#1. The Magma lube is just too hard for best results across a wide range of pressures IMO. It makes a better lube mixed with WL Bac.

Randy's Tac-1 for me.

I put SPG in one for the BPCR stuff and Thompsons through one until I run out and then will use Whites lube and one with 50/50 alox.

Thanks all for the replies, I decided to start with the carnauba red b/c it got the most votes. I appreciate the input.

it needs @ 100-f and about 60 psi to flow and fill the lube grooves properly.
