Does anyone have a chart indicating top punches for LEE molds?
I need a top punch for a Lee .45 truncated cone, bevel base, 230gr, regular lube.

Perhaps a chart showing punches for LEE might be a good thread. I did a search and didnt find anything.

I'm just guessing here, but Lee produces "push through" sizers which need no top punch so why a top punch chart. Your bullet is a flat nose and if you wanted to size/lube it in a Lyman or RCBS machine simply use a flat top punch for the job.

I have the same problem since I use Lyman to lube and want to be able to control the type of lube I use (just an old habit). I used to lube the old way with the pan of melting lube and the cookie cutter until I found a used Lyman and never looked back. I like the bullets the Lee molds make but also like the Lyman for sizing and lubing.

To order the correct top punch, I checked other molds with similar size bullet shapes. Then I called Midway and asked what top punch would work with the Lee mold you are using to check if I was right. They were right on all three times so I must have guessed right. If it is Lyman or RCBS you like then give Midway a call. Also the Lyman website has a list of top punches for there bullet styles and you can start there.
