Please opine either positively or negatively but only about the 40 S&W.

I love mine! I've done extensive customizing to it, including converting it to SAO. In my mind, it is just about the perfect full size .40 S&W platform. Shoots cast like a dream!

My CZ-75B in 40 S&W is by some distance the best 40 S&W I've ever owned, and I have/had several. Mine is a box-stock example in blue steel, and it is VERY lead friendly--it is one of few 40 S&Ws available with a sane rifling twist in its barrel (1-16"), and throat goes a tight .401" with grooves EXACTLY .400". It feeds very reliably, and I was very sorry to see it get de-certified for carry by my agency when retiree CCW regs got tightened in response to HR 218. I shoot it A LOT, almost entirely with the Lee 175 grain TC boolit/conventional lube groove type. 4.7 grains of WW-231 is a good match to my agency's authorized carry loads, the W-W 180 SXT. The CZ-75B is in all respects at least equal to the SIG P-226 and Glock 22, and given its lead friendliness I raise its status at least one notch above those.
