Anybody had any luck resharpening the cutter head. thought I would give it a try before I buy a new one

I just picked up a PT2 that to me didn't seam to cut very well and a LAM2 that was missing a couple parts, Called RCBS to order them and they wouldn't take my money.
Call them.

When mine started to cut a little more slower than when new, about 5 years of use. I asked a friend that worked at a tool&die shop to sharpen the cutter for me. He sent it out to a professional sharpening shop, it came back sharper than when new. So it can be done.Robert

If you don't have the tools to sharpen it yourself then it will cost more to have it sharpened than a new one would cost.
RCBA should send you a new one for the asking.

RCBS makes a carbide cutter head now. I have one, but haven't used it since I am waiting for the first steel one to dull.
