Thanks 1Shirt! Am lucky to be able to shoot on the land I grew up on, and no-one has bothered us yet about shooting.

The plate rack seems to have been a worthwhile investment, over the alternative of purchasing a shotgun for skeet. Saves me the half-hour drive (plus gas) to the the local club to shoot steel, and they only have centerfire matches one Sunday a month. Plus the few times I went last year, several people showed up and it lasted for several hours, and I only got to shoot 6 or 7 times.

Wow - fall colors... We don't get that here.

The only way we know it's Fall/Winter here in Southern California is the average daytime temperatures go from 70 down to 60...

Sure would be nice to have the land to set up my own silhouette range though.
