I don't remember his handle, but there was a member that made some nice grips. I also don't know what all brands he made grips for, but would like some made for a virginia dragoon.

Have you tried Herretts? Their website is a bit cryptic, but they've been around forever, and if anyone would have them, I expect it would be them.

WEEELL, I was going to suggest e-gunparts, but a quick check revealed that they are sold out on J. P. Sauer revolver grips.

However, all is not lost. Grips for a single action revolver are pretty easy to make. http://www.ehow.com/how_2331331_make-revolver-grips.html Take a gander and see if you want to go there. Otherwise, you'll become another of the parts zombies, aimlessly wandering the aisles of gun shows as you seek the missing pieces to free you from your thralldom.

You might try Ajax Custom Grips in Missouri. It's worth a shot.

Grips for Herters are like hen's teeth LOL. I have a .401 powermag, thankfully the grips are in great shape, but their plastic..I can't find wooden grips anywhere. Best bet would be to send the gripframe to a custom grip maker if you don't have a original grip to send or try your luck at making a set yourself. Sorry, wish I could of been more helpful.

Did not find grips anywhere so I ordered wood yesterday for 3 sets, picked up a 401 and a 44 yesterday at a pawn shop in good shape except for grips. will have fun all winter making them and shooting league archery
