On the way to get a haircut today I stopped for a yard sale and I think I must have been the first man there. I spent $7.25 for what you see. The micrometer is Starrett and it is right on the money. As you can see it was a dollar, knife .25 and the two self winding watches for $5.00 The box of saber saw blades were $1.00. I will never have to buy another one of those blades. The man gave me the compass and a cherry stone that is not in the picture.

I hit a yard sale a couple years ago and was heading to my car when I noticed a scabbard sticking out from under something I grabbed it and it had a knife in it. I asked the lady what she wanted she said $3. I didn't pull the knife out till I got home. Turned out to be a Kabar MKII.sold it for $130.

$1.00 for a micrometer that works, I'd have picked it up too.

Makes for a good day that's for sure! I used to stop at the yard sales more but I keep coming home with irresistible deals that I would never use>

wv, The knife is a craftsman and one watch is a Benrus self-winding. It has three stars on the face. The name on the other one is Croton Reliance-Aquamatic. It is also self-winding.
