Lovely day in the Mitten. Finally tried the above mold. Once everything got to the right heat, I did about 500 in an hour with a two cavity mold. I did included his ingenius opening device that seemed to help out greatly.
Very Happy with the results. The bullet came out about 160 gr.
Results my vary.

Yes, it is an Eric conversion of a vintage Lyman mold.
As for pictures, I never managed to figure it out. Pictures in my phone.

I wish i could cast 500 bullets in one hour...especially using two cavity, hollow point version. I bet that mould was hot to say the least.

I'm lucky to knock out a hundred an hour, without hollowpoints!

Wet newspapers, penetration is half of ballistic gel, I measure to the base. So add about 5/8 and double
to get about 10" penetration in gelatin.

I find a good wetpack, penetration is about 75% of gel, half vs water. Expansion is nearly identical. What I like about wetpack, it's easy to produce, repeatable & needs no special handling like gel. You can also get more shots per stack than per block of gel & wetpack is free.

All my testing on wet newsprint and then comparing to published gelatin tests
for same factory ammo, I get right at 2:1 ratio. I believe that Glen Fryxell reported
the same results. You might be doing something a bit different. In any case, you
are dead right about the convenience, cost and lack of temperature issues.
