I was at the local Walmart this morning to get a few things and just HAD to go thru sporting goos section. Lo and behold they had 22 ammo! $55.28 after tax for a 1000 round brick of Winchester M-22. Less than 6 cents per round and I could not resist! It is now in my safe place with the rest of my ammo.

I was in wallmart a couple months ago when they were unloading a pallet of ammo. Thhey wanted 30 bucks for a brick of remington, so I left it.

I was in sportsmans this morning, they had at least one shopping cart (overloaded) with 22 lr they were putting on the shelves. I picked up a 525 round brick for 25.99, still too high, but cheaper than our wallmart. One brick limit though.

I found some tulammo 7.62x39 that they limited to 3 boxes at a time. No 22lr and I check almost daily.

Just like lead wheel weights, I've stopped wasting my time looking for .22 rimfire ammo.

Wasn't really looking for ammo but at 5.5 cents per round, I can't load cast in 223 that cheap. 7 cents is about as cheap as I can load. Just lucked into some.

I wasn't looking for any either, but noticed the guy push the cart up to the rimfire shelf, so I bought a brick. I don't really need it, but with that new to me single six showing up in a few days, I will hopefully burn through some of my stash.
