The time has come to retire my lyman 450.

Well after years and years of service my 450 is worn out, told the wife today that its time to move on and buy the 4500. I still cant get rid of the old thing, even though it wont stop leaking lube it still is solid. So im thinking about milling off below the die and making it a nose first push through sizer for the tumble lube stuff . Figure if that would give it another 25 plus years of service

Has anybody tried to do somthing like this?

Sounds like it would work just fine for the powder coaters and Hi-tech users out there. We don't use lube anyway.

I haven't tried it, but it sounds like it will work.
