224 point forming die help needed

Im trying to understand how the point forming dies are made. Does anyone have any pictures of the process they used. Im working on the de-rimming die now and up next will be the point forming die. Thanks

I'm very new to the process so I may be off but don't you need a core seating die and possibly want a core swaging die too?

what i ended up doing is:

-make d reamer

-made 2 flute reamer

-make laps from production bullets

-rough lap, heat treat, final lap, polish

also, there is a good thread in the stickies above that talk about it some...

but like squish said, you need to make your core seater first, as you need some seated cores so you can gauge the progress pointing die as you lap it out...
