i thought i would post this for any one who is interested its the bertram export catalouge.my friend gave it to me he has a 450 nitro 3-1/4"on a ruger #1 action,he has fired and reloaded his brass 10 times and no split cases.

...............Just TOOOOOOO much good stuff. I have 60 Bertram 577-450 cases. Two of the 20 round boxes have over 30 firings apiece and I haven't lost one yet. Ditto some Bertram 8x56R and 45-90 brass. They haven't been fired as much, but still nice brass.

Nice brass, a bit pricey but sometimes it's the only game in town. I annealed my brass after a couple of split necks. Emery

Who stocks this brass on this side of the pond? Do they have all the different flavors here or are they going to be special order for some of the odd-balls?

Thanks I have looked there and at Buffalo Arms. But I have an odd ball. A Westley Richards 500/450 #1 Carbine. I have built some out of 50-70 brass but it's a PITA.

Checking my Buffalo Arms catalog, they have your 500/450 #1 carbine listed in it. A little expensive, but they still stock it.

MidwayUSA also stocks some Bertram brass, didn't see the 500/450 listed tho. Emery
