Anyone shoot a M11 or Tec 9 style semi auto pistol with cast boolits?
I was thinking it might be handy to have around, and was wondering if it would shoot lead O.k.
I load the lee 125gr RNFP boolit (130 gr actual) for my 9mm and 38.

Not a semi, but I know some guys loading for the full auto versions. They have no problems with cast in them, heck, if anything, they might have fewer problems than a lot of the 9mm's out there.

The Semi is probably different, but the FA version wants the ammo pretty hot for reliability.

The write up I was reading on line said the MPA 930T seemed to like the +P and +P+ ammo.

I shoot lead in my full auto M11/9 all of the time. I load it light to slow the rpm down as much as possible. I would bet the barrels are the same in both the SMG & the semi pistols. So lead should be fine in yours as well.

I shot a TEC-9 years back with commercially cast lead boolit handloads. Went bang and leaded up pretty badly--but trigger was so bad that it was impossible to tell what level of accuracy was actually there.

I just bought a masterpiece arms 9 millimeter with 2 30 round magazines.I load 9 millimeter for my PT 111 . I use the Lee 125 grain round flat boolit , sized .360 over 3.0 of 231 .

the barrel on the masterpiece arms slugged out at .354 .
I was worried that it wouldn't like the light charger of 231 powder but it gobbled them up.
