Does any one have any experience with New Frontier Armory's LW-15 GenII Polymer lower? I just found there site and they have a good price on a fully completed lower and I was just wondering what any one thought about them. Kevin

I don't know if it exactly the same lower, but I have a polymer New Frontier lower. It came with a lower parts kit, buffer, spring, tube, and buttstock. I stripped it, kept the buffer tube, spring, and buffer, dumped the rest in my parts bin, and turned it into a sweet lightweight 14.5 inch. I'm 600 rounds into it and wouldn't change a thing.

The price is okay. Shop around, get a forged alum. lower. Price and weight are negligible. That said, I had the original version from plum crazy firearms( same tooling as
NF). There were no issues. Also, I have read reports of failures of material, not from firing, usually around front take down pin.

I never did understand a polymer lower. Since a stripped aluminum lower has very little weight to start with.
