View Full Version : My 1st Accurate mold

Ordered my 1st Accurate mold last night. It is an aluminum 135g, .401 size, 4 cavity mold for my 40 S&W Para Ordance 1911. Going to use it for some Steel Plate Competitions. Now I only have to wait until it gets here. Very excited.

Post a photo of the mold and bullets when it arrives !

Please let us know in detail your experience. I'm emailing back and forth with Tom now trying to design a mold. I'm sure he's going to tire of me.

After Tom sends me my dream Ruger Old Army mold I'm sending it off to Erik at Hollow Point Mold Service to have all 4 cavities modified with his inset-bar HP. Don't ask...it's all makes sense in my unbalanced mind.

"Curses"! I bought one of his molds and now I need to get another fix! He really does make extremely nice custom molds and in the future if I need something not cataloged he will definitely be getting my business. I think I may need to change my "log-on" to "Custom Mold Junkie". :bigsmyl2:

Yep buy one of Tom's molds and you will be itching for another even if you don't need one. I wish I wasn't so broke I want so many of his molds. I've considered robbing a 7/11 just to buy another one

Received the mold today and already casted 1000 bullets from it. Absolutely awesome mold. Every bullets drops free. I am going to coat them with Hi-Tek Red Copper and load some up.

Like I always say, "if you hate it when your boolits just drop from the mold with ease, you hate it when your boolits are all perfectly round & concentric and you hate it when every casting session is completely trouble-free because the mold works perfectly every time, just like the time before..... Then you will HATE your new Accurate mold". He he
