Quick question, I do not size my brass at all for BP reloads. If I want to trim them a little, could use the "RCBS or Redding" trim dies for this or will I have to full size the brass? (I do not like the Lee trim dies) Thanks beng

You could use either one, but they are different. RCBS will size the case as well as have the trim feature, but the Redding will not size and only have the trim feature. Therefore, if you want to size and trim use the RCBS. If you only want to trim use the Redding. Your choice...

Have you tried the Lee trimmer with the Zip Trim? Looks a little silly but for sizing 50-100 cases I'm pretty happy with it, pretty quick as well.

beng, I have never trimmed any of my 45-70's. But when they shorten below 2.095 I stretch them. That's it.

I have a lot of trim dies.
The RCBS trim dies sizes both the body and the neck. However the neck is left about .010 oversize in diameter.

Redding trim dies are just like a FL sizer die. They size everything neck body and all exactly like a FL sizer.

I also have never had to trim with blackpowder loads.
