I'm wanting to load some of these for my 10" T/C Contender, 30/30.

Yesterday, I shot the 311241 at 150 grs. plain based with 6.0 of Bullseye. They shot well.

I'm wondering if that same load of 6.0 B'eye would work well with the plain base soup can bullet sized .310" ? Might be like a " souped up 32-20."

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Guess I'll give it a try.

I have had similar results after I used a 5/16" drill to take out the GC ring of the 2-cav LEE C309-115F (#90362) and pushed it through everything from the 10" T/C Contender to various .30's and .303's. If you just hold the blocks loose in your hand the drillbit will self-center. I put a ring of masking tape on it to gauge depth. Worked like a charm and has been casting beautiful little 'soupcans' ever since.

After seeing your results, Ben, maybe I should send my two "soupcan" molds to you for similar treatment!
