If anyone is interested, there is a good article (titled) Bolt Thrust and Related Myths, in the October Handloader
Journal. It explains how "reloaders" get higher velocities from their factory and AI cartridges.

+1 on Barsness, good articles, always are dramatically better researched
and thought out than many.
