I have a Pro 1000 and the Instructions say to keep it lubed but don't say what places need the lube.
So would any of you Pro 1000 users like to chime in with your process?
Thanks!

keep any kind of wet lube, ie greese, or oil away from the primer system. I use powder graphite for this area. Check on the Lee webisite, they may have a video there on the maintanance procedures.

Scribble a pencil down the primer chute , then i use hoppes 9 on the ram and a drop on the index rod.

also the press will run really smooth if you lube 1 in every 8 or 9 cases. this is NOT necessary, but if you feel the press is still jerky after you've lubed it properly, this can help smooth it up a good bit. very helpful when loading small cases that don't have lots of case volume that drop powder everywhere if the press isn't run smooth.

I lube the linkage, the column, and the ratchet rod. I am away from my shop now and cannot remember it there is anything else.

I spray the ram and shell holder with Hornady Spray Lube, it works well and won't foul the primers if it gets on them.

Thanks for the advise. I did look at LEE and did not find any info.
