making .30 cal jackets

I have made .30 cal from 5.7 brass successfully, but 5.7 brass isn't very plentiful.

Has anyone made jackets from something more common, ie. 9mm

What steps were involved.

I have a 6 ton press

i am in the middle of this project right now, it is doable to draw 9mm to 30 cal, i am using a 1 ton arbor press:
