Will the 30-30 310 dies as is, work for reloading the AI? Don't have any formed brass to try in my dies. And, which dies would I need to modify to work for the AI? Don't they neck size only so it should work? Maybe... [was told the 30-30 Lee Loader would do AI because it only neck sizes]

Or, could I ream the right die/s with the same AI reamer I use for the gun, or are the 310 dies too hard for the reamer? [reamer maybe too long?]

Any ideas before I call Rick Morrill? He's another Texan.

Just asking...

Thanks.

I have never used a tong tool for loading ammo, so take this as you will.

It is my understanding that the 310 neck sizes only. If the AI case is too big to enter the regular .30-30 die, I think you could use a 310 die meant for the .308 Winchester. Similar case length, larger body diameter. Probably cheaper than buying a custom set.

I think your AI 30-30 brass will be neck sized just fine with standard " 310 Series " neck sizing dies without any need for modification to the die.
