82655The attached article is what I based mine on. Instead of pushing the lead through the barrel and nozzle, the nozzle is pushed into the barrel and lead. Less force is required. I cast the lead bars using a 3/4 id alum tube per a post here and it works great. The lead falls out. This set makes about 3 feet of .185 dia wire per bar. It works out well for me. I use a 20 ton arbor press. The only critical fit is the nozzle to barrel and I just tweeked until it went in. Maybe .001 clearance. Very little lead flashes.
