Brand new Lee mold fail.

No hitting with stick , proper lube, and I babied this sucker . About my 30th bullet one side of the mold plate falls off as I open it up to drop the bullets. Anyhow the screw that holds the mold on breaks right off . Lol. While I was making that pour I did hear a snap? Seems like the heat caused it to do that ? Mold wasn't too hot either , I was finally getting good bullets out of it in that session.

Contac Lee for replacement. The only time I had a problem I sent a pic and they sent a part without doing an exchange. Molds and angles are good and just need a screw right?

Yes. call them. They are very good at warranty stuff. Even on older stuff.

The screw is broke off in the mold so I'm going to have to send it in. Thanks guys

Warranty is good and turn around is usually quick, good luck.

I have had that happen. I normally peen the edges of the screw hole with a punch to help that from happening.
