I'm looking for some feedback on those that have tried this particular hearing protection.

1] Do they work good
2] Are they comfortable
3] Were they easy to mould
4] Can you clean them regularly
5] How long will they last

Thanks in advance for your time and input.

I bought two sets. They are extremely easy to make; very comfortable; and clean easily......I use them almost daily during chainsaw season....plus hunting and using power tools.....I highly recommend!

Not familiar with that brand but the ones I bought 40 years ago are still the best ear protection I know of.

I tried them a couple of years ago and was disappointed. I complained to the maker and they sent me second kit which didn't work any better than the first. I keep a pair on the Harley to use on a long ride. For shooting they don't cut it.

I have two sets, not kits, the fellow that does them at guns shows is usually there at every show I have been to. The only reason I had two sets made is because I lost one. I like them, hardly know I am wearing them. Much better than over the ear muffs. I also recommend them. I have forgotten how much they cost, somewhere between $35 and $50. Maybe not cheap but effective.

We can't be talking about the same product. The ones I had were about $10 and strictly a DIY affair. The kit had two materials that were mixed together like epoxy and inserted into your ear to harden. The mix is to stiff to get a really good form fit to your ear.

Thats the one I'm looking at. Radians kit is about $45

I've used custom molded plugs for years. Now that I have more hair in my ears than on my head, they're uncomfortable for me.

I had a pair made for me years ago. I wore them a couple of times, and went back to foam. Much better noise reduction, but I put the foam ones in far enough that I have to use needle-nose pliers to get them out. THAT occasionally gets some strange looks.

Here they are for $20.00. They have them on sale in the store for $15.00 periodically.

I can't figure out how to do the hot link thing.

Ditto. Save yer money for something that works. Use the EAR foam ones (yellow cylinders, punched from sheet). The ones moulded of softer foam don't work as well.

The material shrinks as it hardens and does not provide a good seal. I have two sets, because I thought I screwed up the first ones, but the second ones are no better. They are better than nothing, but not good.

A safety friend tells me it's hard to beat the cheapo foam plugs for protection. They expand to give a good seal and reseal if they move around in your ears from vibration .
I wear them with muffs when it's really booming at the range.

I'm really comfortable with the cheapo foam plugs. $11 shipped from ebay is worth a try though. BTW Home Depot sells the foam earplugs in bulk. I am a printer and use them all the time when operating my machines/presses. Just wish I would have done that 30 years ago [smilie=b: huh? wadya say?
