In the last 3 weeks I bought a Glenfield 30/30 with the 2/3 mag tube and a Win 94 in 32 SPL. Took them out shooting today and the Glenfield shot really good for having MG rifling. I put a Lyman receiver sight on it and didn't have to make any adjustment to it as I was shooting at 50 Yds. Best group was 2" with the 311291 and it really engraved nicely compared to my Marlin 336RC. I also shot some saboted 225107's in it and got a 2.75" 4 shot group. The 31141's I shot were about 2.4" groups. These were loads for my 336 RC.
The pre 64 Win 94 did really good with the RCBS 32-170 and 27.5 grs BLc-2. I was getting 1.5 to 2.5" groups with open sights. I need to put a receiver sight on this rifle also for my tired eyes. I didn't buy a Marlin MG 336sc or RC I saw at Saturdays gun show as I wanted the 32 SPL. Don't see a lot of them around here and there were 2 Winchesters at the show. Mark

Those 32 Winchesters are great. A kid that lives by me had his grandfathers gun. Said it was a lousy shooter, and no one in the family could get old granddads 32 to shoot.

Problem was no one in the family knew how to sight in a rifle, and aim a peep site. I had the thing dialed in within a half an hour, and the kid was shooting 1.5" groups in no time.

...........Mark, some nice rifles you got. Gee, I wish I could go to gunshows :D Actually maybe it's better that I can't go, ha! I bought a NOS Marlin 36RC bbl from GPC (think I mentioned it here. Might have been the other board) to replace the sewerpipe M93 barrel. Almost a perfect screw-on fit. I need to get the wood on it and some sights and take it shooting.
