I am looking for some load data for an upcoming big game hunt. I looked in the Lyman book #4, but did not see data for the powders that I have.
- My rifle is a Browning BLR in 30.06 with a 1 in 10 twist rate.
- For alloy, I have WW's that come in around 12 bhn air cooled, and at about 18 bhn water dropped.
- I also have some range scrap that comes in at 15 bhn air cooled, and at about 21 bhn water dropped.
- I will be adding tin up to 2% for best fill out.
- I'll be using my Lee C309-200-R mold for my boolits with gas checks made from aluminum or brass.
- The powders that I have to work with are IMR 3031, IMR 4064, & IMR 4350.
- I would like to see loads with a starting velocity of 1800 fps and continue on up from there, all while keeping these heavy boolits stable and accurate.
I appreciate any and all input.. Thanks
