I have a 2nd generation Colt 1862 police ,it's about the size of a Ruger Bearcat! It's a ball to shoot ,needs a higher front "bead" to bring he poi down to poa at 50 feet. I can't see Ruger ever doing a BP single after dropping the Old Army ,but I would be all over 1 if they did. For now , the clones of the 1862 police are the nearest thing. Too bad they shoot so hi ,I have started to put a higher blade on mine several times to make it a better "woods roaming" companion.
