I cannot put into words or put down my feelings, tears are keeping me from the keys to type all I want to say. If you would like to read more on our loss you can go to the 'Fort Dodge messenger' an Iowa newspaper, and read of my nephew. Jamies parting has cost us a very huge part of our lives. I spent the better part of yesterday with my brother, Jamies dad, is all so surreal. When it sets in I just don't know how it will be. Your prayers for him and family will be answered.

Our nation and your family and community lost a good man and a professional LEO of the mold and fiber of which we need more of in this country.

This hits pretty close to home for us here as our son is a Missouri State Trooper and has been involved in similar incidents. Whenever a peace officer or soldier goes out the door they are putting their lives on the line. Our prayers go out to the family for the loss of one of their own and one of our heroes.
