It's sunny and 55° here in New Hampshire and my wife's gone for the day. I'm totally out of Big Lube J/P-45's and 45SWC's and there are still a few matches before it gets too cold so I'm going to do some casting today.

Right now the pot is sitting on a picnic table and a 4" platform to raise it up a bit so my back doesn't get sore....and the lead is melting :)

I figured I'd come in the house and post this because you know what they say about a watched pot ;)

Falls in the air down here in Ga as well. Can't wait. Bow season opener yesterday. Muzzleloader and gun season around the corner.

It was 65 and cloudy all day yesterday so I cast up some 308 bullets. Today it's 75 and sunny and I'm heading to a gun raffle with free food and beer all day :)

I made a fire in the fire ring for my 6yo girl. She loves family time around the campfire.

Fall must be coming. They have switched to winter-blend fuel, apparently. The 10% ethanol stuff they call gasoline hereabouts likes to boil in the lines under the hood anyway, but vapor lock has been a real issue the last 2 weeks, in this 98 degree weather...

OK, I'm done for now. I cast 34 lbs of lead or about 1200 200gr bullets....taking a short break to see the granddaughter play some soft ball beteem bullet types. Now I gotta cut the grass. All in all a nice day to be outside.

Foggy and a light drizzle here in the Puget Sound area of Washington State. No casting today, but you can send some of those 200 grain boolits my way! :)

Well, in the NY Finger Lakes today it was a great day for casting...

Made 400 of 45 cal 160gr boolits from the mold I just got from BACKTOSHOOTING... it works great!

Also made 400 more 9mm 125gr conicals.

Not bad for a day that started off with me feeling like **** from my allergies.

Shot 400+ rounds of 45 Colt and 357 on Thursday, so I cast up some more this morning. 65 deg. and RAINING, it was pleasant in the casting garage as I did about 30 lbs. of .45 in asst. styles and weights......

Good times!

Shrink wrapped 9 boats this weekend, some of that income will be spent on new molds and reloading goodies!

Every day is a great casting day: When the melt is good, the cavities fill, and the tinsel fairy doesn't visit!
