I just got my first Louverin mold - 311466. Cast some up and thought they might fit in my K31. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for this boolit in this case - I have no cast data. I have quite a bit of IMR4064 and that might be useful. I also have a bunch of WC867 as well. Either powder would be useful?

My mold casts these right at 160gr with gas check and the two bottom lube groves lubed.

I haven't tried any cast beyond some low velocity plinking loads in my K31s.
I had good results with 16-17 gr of 2400. I have had excellent results with
4064 under 174 Sierra Matchkings, not sure how it will work under cast.

Wayne, If WC 867 is a slower version of WC 860, you can start with 46grs. - 48grs. + LR maag. primer with #311466. What little experience I have with CB loads and IMR 4064 suggests 30grs. as a safe place to begin. Btw, sized to .309", -466was a very accurate design for my K-31's.
