What does a .500 gas check weigh -- I will soon start shooting a .500 using the lee mold --likely I will not use one but I was interested what they weighed

Sage Outdoors aluminum checks are about 4.2 grains each. Your alloy and casting temp will probably cause greater weight variation than that with the 440 grain bullet.
