I heard Festus sing this a couple times on Gunsmoke and liked it. I went searchin for the lyrics and found that Ken Curtis had recorded a couple albums as Festus.

Thanks for the info! Ordered all three CD's. Was always a fan of Ken Curtis, even way way back when he was with Roy Rogers and the Sons of the Pioneers!

And he was a Big Band singer before that, with Tommy Dorsey (replacing Frank Sinatra!) and Shep Fields.
