Looking good.
If I ever get around to buying a .357 revolver, which I've been hoping to do since a relative gave me several thousand rounds of fresh .38 Special and .357 Magnum factory ammo after he sold off his revolvers to buy several new autoloaders, I intend to look for a Rossi 92 as a companion carbine.
The 92 is one of Winchesters best efforts. I guess Browning designed it, too darned good for it to have been anyone else.
Most of the .38 Special ammo I was given has a FMJ bullet with a broad flat point, perfect for a tube magazine. Got several thousand empty .38 and .357 cases as well.

I was using Tula standard primers. I had heard that a mag primer would bring the SD and ES down, so I loaded 5 with winchester SPM primers. The group opened up to about 3 inches, the average velocity dropped to 1632 fps, the extreme spread was 96.5 fps and the standard deviation was 39 fps.

I didn't expect that one!

Nice group! I used to be able to shoot good before my eyes went south.

This,

My Rossi with 170 NOE with 14.5 grn 296, CCI 550 primers and open sights i could do 10" groups. Much to my reluctance i put on a 4 MOA red dot and now can do 2"-3" groups.
Now i'm all :bigsmyl2:
