Just out of curiosity, when and/or where did the term "bang switch" originate?
Probably the same place we got "booger hook".
I could go on a real rant about how much it torques me to see people posing for the camera with their "booger hook on the bang switch"......but I won't.

we used to call it a "kill switch" in a former avocation, so my guess is it got taken from there.
