I recently purchased the 356-120-TC Lee 90387 6 banger mold and needed to work up some loads, see how they would do on the chrony. I had been using the TL356-124-TC from Lee, the 90238 mold, which I've happy with. With the TL356-124-TC, I've been TL'ing them in LLA, sizing to .357 then TL'ing them again. With the 356-120-TC, I dip lubed them with Lyman Alox and sized to .357. I've done 2 strings, one with 4.1 gr Unique and the 2nd string with 4.3 gr Unique. For your viewing pleasure and comment. Have a good day.

In summary, both were fine accuracy wise for me. I was freehand shooting at some 6" steel swinging targets about 30 yards away and nailing them as long as I did my part. During cleanup I noticed a very small amount of leading near the muzzle and no lube star. I don't get this with my TL bullets with the same powder charge, etc. The bullets have only age hardened about 4 days so there might be something there. Next time, I think I'll go ahead an TL these too and fill the lube groove with Alox and see what happens. :cbpour:

That's valuable info for me, as I'm working up a Unique load for 9mm myself, and I don't have a chrony. Thanks!
