Modify 7.5X55mm MAS 49/56 magazines to work with 7.62X51mm cartridges.

They were out of stock of MAS 49/56 magazines for 7.62X51mm cartridges so I purchased MAS 49/56 magazines for 7.5X55mm cartridges. They might work without modification. It does not appear to be true so far. What modification worked for you? Grinding back the front feed lips? If so, how far?
