Thank you men, thank you, I am trying to get some composer here, It's like I am in the twilight zone.
Came home at 4:30 PM---Julie was fine-- bent down to pet the dog--- got dizzy--
Left side or face went numb--- left arm--left leg---
Gave a baby Aspirin and called 911--they came and we went to the airport and she was life flighted to Central Maine Medical center.
She regained some use of her arm and speech was better in the ambulance
I will call the Hospital in a little while, it's 8:45 PM now.
Please pray for Julie, I know -- I know you are sorry.
My poor wife, My honey didn't know what was happening, thank God I was here.
I am very shook up and I thank you all.

I think it was very fortunate that you were there and able to get her to the right place so fast, time is critical, minutes count and God had you there when you needed to be.
I feel she will come through this well.
I am sorry that you both are going through this though, have faith.
I don't pray for a lot of folks, but I did for you and her, why i dont know but I know he heard me.

God I ask that right now you work your healing in the life of Julie. That she recovers completely from this stroke with no problems within her body from it. I ask also that you provide comfort and peace to Sam during this terrible ordeal. Sam you were in exactly the right place at the right time. I believe God is looking out for both of you otherwise you might have not been home when this all happened. Keep us informed of her progress.

Men, I thank you from my heart of hearts.
I spoke with Julie and she is stable, her left side came around and is much better.
Her speech is also good. She is 80 miles away from me and it's hard for me to get there. Close to $30 a trip, my friend gave me $30 yesterday and I spent $3.49
on a cheep loaf of bread. My goodness the cost of things.
Another friend gave me a front quarter from a small Deer. It's been frozen for 10 months but it will be fine for the fur kids. I have found myself doing stupid things just to keep busy. If I don't I keep seeing her as she was when they took her out of our house. I know she is better but I can't get the image out of my mind. I guess it will pass in time. The doctor said it was a shot across the bow.
I think they will hold her at the hospital at least till Wed. or Thursday.
I do a lot of huffing and puffing and act like a tough guy some times but this brought me to my knees. To see your wife slipping away in front of you is nothing I would wish on anyone. Thank goodness for your prayers and my prayers. I am confident she will pull through this, old age sucks.
But in my heart I know that many folks a lot younger than us have been through worse times. I pray for them, I pray for everyone.
I will update when I can.

thank you all again

Sam

Thanks for the good news.

NOW YOUNG MAN, sit down pour yourself a cup of "EARL GREY" and RELAX for Julies sake.

Many of us here still need to see reports from both of you. Relax sit back and QUIT WORRYING. YES I do know it is hard to do But YOU can do it.

Now SMILE:bigsmyl2:As things are already starting to improve.

Very sorry to hear about this.

I understand too well what it's like. It feels so helpless. If it was another man trying to hurt your wife, you would stand up to him with everything you've got. But this is different, there's nothing you can fight.

But it will get better, and it sounds like it already has. Always look ahead, it WILL get better.

Go visit her, it will make BOTH of you feel better.

The last thing you need to worry about now is the price of gas, or a loaf of bread. You've much better things to think about.

PLEASE PM me with your address or paypal, I'll gladly chip in to help you out. I know you didn't ask for it, but I want to anyway.

When my wife was sick, many helped me out when I needed it. Don't think of this as a hand out, it's not. To me, this is my version of a pay it forward.

Blessings for you and Julie. Sounds like a 'micro', recovery should be good. If they put her on BA, not bad. Hopefully she won't be on rat poison that takes monthly checkups. Let us now it the bills get bad.

Thank you all for the overwhelming prayers and support.
If all her test go well and I am sure they will my little flower will be home tomorrow. 4 days seems like an eternity without her. I woke up 3 times last night and thought she was here. The fur kids are beside themselves cause one of the pact is missing.
I am going to try and re-arrange things in this little place so things are easier
for her, I am never, ever going to bed without saying I love you.
Every time I look at her I am going to say to myself, thank you Lord for my beautiful wife, Please keep her safe.
I don't take lightly all the comfort and thought you men have shown me and Julie. We appreciate every single word of it.

From Sam
" I am beside myself

Have you seen what is taking place ?
I have never seen such a great group of people. I mean this is unheard of generosity.
I can get a new vacuum cleaner for the camp the one we have is old and you have to do everything 3 times. I will look for a light one and then I can do the work and Julie can supervise from her chair.
She always worries we don't have enough food put up so that will be next, she needs shoes and sneakers to.
Please convey for me if you please that I am so overwhelmed with the generosity being shown."

Just a quick note from me.

I am home and safe. VERY, very tired but so very happy to be home with Sam and the furfaces.

Sam, (my hero in the cape) along with God saved my life on Sat night. First by getting that aspirin for me, then the 911 call and then praying for me all the way to the local airport. I was starting to get the feeling back when we were parking the ambulance. It was a true miracle that happened that night.

I will say this. The copter ride was great but I really don't want to ride in the Life Flight again. Thank you very much.

God bless you so much for your prayers, and any and all help. I have no idea what financial things are going to pop up in the near future but you helping will definitely be used to help get me back on my feet.

Thank you for supporting Sam. He is my hero.

Now to get some rest. There was very little of that in the Cardiac Unit and CMMC.

Hugs to you all.

Julie

Hi guys, I think I am mending but it's slow. Kinda woozy and weak today but the weather is so humid and sticky up here I have never done well in this living in a fish tank type thing.

Supposed to let up in a couple days tho. I am looking forward to fall and dry, cooler weather.

My hubby Sam is a good man. He is full of bluster sometimes but he always means well and has been worried sick about me. I wish this hadn't happened but God has his own way of making us slow down I guess. I was just doing too much maybe?

We are heading into town soon to pick up our clean clothes from the laundromat. No way either of us could do it this time. So, we are letting those who do it for a living to wash/dry/fold it.....(this is lovely. I used to really hate driving 24 miles round trip and being in that place for 3 hours)

I am still very humbled over all the help and support and obvious love for us from you folk. You just are so very sweet. By the grace of God I will recover fully and be healthy again. They say it takes some time and I am believing that now.

Again, hugs to all of you.

Julie

Sam obviously did not tell you about the party at your place? :kidding:
You sit back and relax for a while until you heal a bit!
Cooler here today and supposed to be fall like tomorrow! It is heading your way. Next weekend is my favorite fall festival! Only place I have ever seen that lines up the kiddies, fire a 12" black powder charged mortar filled with candy and let them go after it!
