I had a good day today with the Browning 40-65. Testing a new load that had shot well at 200. I took it out to 600 yds. today. It held MOA consistently with one group being barely over 4" ctc. For me, that's a real good day. Happy happy happy as Phil would say.

I would be happy about that as well. Those Browning BPCR's are nice. My 45-70 does an admirable job.

very nice to hear your good fortune. I like to hear about someone having a great day with the soot burners.
my Browning BPCR in 45-70 is a hoot to shoot. I just joined it with a leatherwood 6x by 34 inch long... haven't had a chance to try it with the scope yet but am looking forward to the trial.

Boy, that's a lot of compression, especially for Swiss, which many shooters load with no compression, but it seems to be working for you. Very interesting.

Yeah, I transposed a number. I had to change that. I gave the seating depth instead of compression.
Greetings 2Tite,
What primer is giving you such good results?
Cheers,
Dave

Remington large pistol primers. I use them in all my BP cartridge loads.
