Lead wire.

I have a 45lb roll of lead .311 wire. It has slight corrosion on it. Well it is dark and has a little white dust. Is this still good to use as cores? I dont really have a use for it and am not sure whether to sell it or melt it down.

Sell it. If anyone wants the most accurate cores they can get they should have a proper pre core swaging technique that would remove that oxidation anyway.
