NEI mould BC's

Hi,

I just emailed NEI for the BC or an approximation for their bullet mould .512-435-gc #376 mould for use in my 500 Jeffery and got a reply back saying quote "We do not have loading data, sorry ". !!! Didn't ask for for any loading info.

So far I have been unable to find any BC listings for any NEI moulds on the web, does anyone have the BC for this bullet or is able to give me some idea.

I would most grateful for any help you give.

I downloaded an image of the NEI # 376 and scaled the dimensions into my Precision Cast Bullet Design and Evaluation (http://www.tmtpages.com/draw/draw.htm) software to calculate an image and the overall dimension values.

I then loaded the dimensions into the Precision G1 Ballistic Coefficient Estimator (http://www.tmtpages.com/cast_bc.htm) and it returned a ballistic coefficient of 0.2132

Please be aware that BC calculations are only estimates and a true and accurate ballistic coefficient is best obtained by actual firing tests that deliver real world velocities and trajectories.

Many thanks for that that info and I fully understand is only a guide, but its a good starting point.

That software looks very interesting, not come across it before but it looks excellent.

I will check out those web sites.
