Found this in some stuff my father in law had.
I don't have a clue what it is.
It's a 385 gr lead bullet.
Any ideas?

Looks like .43 Mauser to me, also known as 11x60r.

im going to say a bit diff without the diameter known. could be a couple diff cases ... 43 Spanish ... 44-77 rem or sharps ... 44-90bn ... need boolit measurement to be sure but also the neck dia. would be a great hint as well as the over all case length its self. rim diameter.

I wouldn't settle on anything till these hints are known. other then the numbers and marks on the case head there are no known hints to be absolutely sure till the diameters and length are known

All that can be said for sure is that it is a Mauser "A" base cartridge.
