I have the opportunity to own a BLR 243 in good condition... for about £275. Could someone tell me if they are accurate?

Mine was pretty good. I regret selling it. It shot better than I did.

I have one of the older models (mag protrudes below the receiver) and it is among the most accurate rifles that I ever owned. Given the light weight and thin bbl, that surprises me to this day. The old models are hard to get magazines for, so if that is what you are looking at, be forewarned. The price sounds good to me.

at that price, you bet. I had the first model in 358 and gave it to a friend who wanted to get started in hunting. I don't regret the act of giving it away, but I do wish I gave him another gun and kept the 358.

I have a white gold medallion 308 blr. Smooth and beautiful and accurate and beautiful. That's right, I said beautiful twice. It handles VERY easily for a full power rifle too. I imagine if anything a 243 is more accurate.
