LGS must have bought out an estate sale, had many old cans of powder, old beautiful .30-06 brass headstamped REM UMC, moulds, etc.
I picked up 5 moulds, one of them an Ideal 2C, one cavity is 257283 and the other is 257325. Never have seen a 2c with different designs before! Also got a Cramer 3C 56A SB and a Lachmiller 2c 311175 FN. Sadly the Cramer has some rust in the cavity and is slated for electronic cleaning. Only powder I bought was a sealed 3 pound keg of AL-5 for $30. Bought it as much for nostalgial as anything else, that was one of the first powders I started loading with back in 1963.
Also had some lead, said .40 a pound. There was a 10 # chunk of lino, 10 # of pure lead and 6 # of bars that might be 60/40 or tin, not sure, 50 # in all $20 for all of it.

Sounds like a good haul. I've seen those Ideal moulds with different cavities on ebay from time to time. I always thought that they were custom orders. They're usually like yours, two different designs of the same caliber.

Up until the 1970's, Lyman would make just about anything you were willing to pay for. I have a 452-374, 452-423 double cavity and once bid on a 4 cavity mold that had 4 different 30 caliber designs. I have seen a couple that had a rifle boolit design and a pistol boolit design in the same blocks. They still pop up from time to time.

It was indeed at Ed's! Still a LOT of powder, brass and Lee molds left when I was there.
